While even Stanley is already incredibly isolated with only 1 flight per week from South America, some of the settlements I visit today are so remote and empty, they make Stanley seem like a well-connected metropolis! Why do 44 people live off-grid on the isolated, barren, windswept outer islands only accessible by propellor plane or boat? And what's life like for the Rural Falkland Islanders who have lived in Camp for GENERATIONS, many completely disconnected from even Stanley, much less the rest of the world? (And by disconnected, I mean there are many villages that don't even have roads!)
