Death Valley Road! GoPro and video cruising the Death Valley Road - Driving California State Route 127 from The Mad Greek in Baker off the 15 to the 190 and the National Park entrance! I enjoy Route 127 or Death Valley Road almost as much as the roads in the park itself. Less busy but still amazing desert views and some abandoned mines to check out as well along the way. The military bombing range or whatever that place is up Silver Lake Rd was interesting. We turned around on that dirt road! (Right by Silver Lake Cemetery) We drive through Salt Creek Hills, Shoshone, Amargosa before getting to the Death Valley Junction, where we took the route 190 road to get on into the National Park itself. Luckily just before the major flooding, but we did see some minor washouts and witnessed a cool evening thunderstorm, which is an extremely rare weather event in the Mojave desert or Death Valley. #Mojave #California #desert Driving through the middle of one of the worlds hottest deserts, the Mojave, in the summer!
