Reno CEO apologizes after viral TikTok confrontation with DoorDash driver

A TikTok video capturing a heated exchange between a Reno CEO and a DoorDash delivery driver has gone viral, drawing widespread attention and criticism. The incident, which took place in a McDonald's parking lot, involved Cheryl Vauk, CEO of Productive Solutions, and 21-year-old Janet Chavez. In the video, Vauk is heard questioning Chavez's immigration status, asking, "Are you illegal?" Chavez responded, "That is none of your business and none of your concern," to which Vauk replied, "Yeah, it is because I pay taxes here." Chavez recounted the confrontation, saying, "She was like, that was my parking. They told me the parking number three and I couldn't because you're in it. And I was like, okay, like I parked in a mobile order parking." Chavez added, "She was like, yeah, you're an illegal, illegal here. And yeah, so I got my phone, pulled it out." The video, originally posted on February 14, was removed by TikTok for "harassment and bullying," but not before being reposted by an account with two million followers, garnering over 2.6 million views.
