(4K) Virgin Trains From London to Glasgow in First Class 28/11/19

This video belongs to Scotland Ellis Scottish_Ellis! 2160p 4K HD! Although I travel on these trains many times a week I haven't actually filmed a video on one for many years now. I recently had to pleasure of travelling in First Class on one of Virgin's Pendolinos from London Euston to Glasgow Central and decided to get a little bit of footage from onboard. The video begins as the train is boarding at London Euston. As we leave London Euston we head toward for Watford JCT, after a Milton Keynes Central we pass by Watford Gap before we're then routed down the Trent Valley lines to Colwich Junction before turning off of the WCML and towards our first stop since leaving London Euston, which is Warrington Bank Quay. The service then continues to Wigan North Western, Preston, Lancaster, Oxenhomle Lake District, Penrich North Lakes, Carlisle and into Glasgow Central. Service wise, this was an a morning service so a hot meal was offered on this train. The first meal service was a Breakfast service I went for a the Great British Breakfast then I was offered hot & cold drinks (incl complimentary Orange Juice and a variety of snacks like cookies, & Chocolate and Fruit after Preston with either a Bacon Roll or a Fruit Salad. Also plenty of Tea & Coffee offered throughout. First Class on Pendolino's is actually one of my favourites in the UK! Comfy seats and lots of room plus the lamp on the table which is actually quite "old school" dating back to the days of loco hauled services. Lamps on the tables in first used to be a pretty common thing on the WCML & ECML. Now a thing of the passed on the East Coast route only still see them on the Pendo's. Also it has to be said, I prefer pendolino first class because I'm not overly keen on leather seats, just an opinion. Thanks for Watching Facebook   / 70914.  .
