Location: Shenango Lake & Campground (Near Hermitage), Pennsylvania December 12, 2025 4:41 PM Introspection = We arrived at camp to find Shenango lake mostly dry. There is a light covering of snow over the lake bottom and a feeder stream winding through the middle just starting to ice over. In the west there is a break in the clouds that promises the chance for a beautiful sunset. I set up the camera with the sun behind the clouds and was rewarded with the sun coming out from the clouds to brighten the snow covered lake bottom and reflect off of the creek (brush run) for a few minutes before setting and casting a orange glows on the clouds.
