Thought this would be a helpful video for those folks with a stuck drain plug. The drain plug in these old wheelhorses are on the bottom. It is a 1/4 Hex plug. I've had this happen on 2 different machines. the plug hex strips out. The brand of oil doesn't really matter but use 80w90 these rear ends are about bullet proof. Just doing regular maintenance goes a long way. As you can see this is many years of neglect I have had this machine put inside luckily and I have kept the boot changed over the shifter.
