Michael Tilson Thomas, Artistic Director and co-Founder of the New World Symphony, America’s Orchestra Academy, comes to you to share personal stories and musical recollections of Igor Stravinsky. IDAGIO is the official Audio Streaming Partner of the New World Symphony. Among NWS’s first recordings released on IDAGIO is their January performance of “A Stravinsky Journey” with MTT, featuring Stravinsky’s Variations: Aldous Huxley in Memoriam, Symphony in Three Movements, Pétrouchka (1947 revision) and Scherzo à la russe.
