We started by completely clearing the space behind our shed, which was overgrown and very uneven. With a lot of hard manual work 💪 — and just a small help from a rotary tiller — we leveled the ground and prepared the soil for what’s coming next. After that, we built a raised bed along the edge using tree logs placed in a line 🌳, creating a natural and rustic border. Inside this bed, we planted a row of bay laurel trees that, as they grow, will form a living fence 🌱, hiding the edge and adding privacy and beauty to the space. In the ground-level bed, we planted some very special and meaningful plants ❤️, all taken from my mother’s garden — plants we rescued at the beginning of the video and that are now part of this new chapter of our farm. The rest of the area is now waiting to be seeded with grass 🌾. We will let the soil rest and allow the remaining vegetation to decompose naturally, enriching the soil before we plant the lawn.
