I’ve been keeping an eye on Ardenfall for a while, and after spending time with the demo, I have some thoughts. This is an open-world RPG that leans heavily into atmosphere, player choice, and a surreal swamp-like setting that feels like a modern tribute to the depth of classic RPGs like Morrowind. In the spirit of being upfront, it’s important to remember this is still a work in progress. While the world-building and the sheer sense of mystery are clearly there, there is definitely some indie "jank" to discuss.
