I try a new feeding technique & check in on my red wiggler DIY Worm Bin as they turn my food scraps, cardboard boxes & junk mail into natural fertilizer & soil amendments for my garden! I checkin on the status of my worm bins every time I feed. I like to assess the moisture level, see how much of the last feeding they consumed & check for any issues along with aerating the bin as I dig around. In this checkin I find some mites & pot worms and record a little time lapse as they swarm a banana peel. I also walk you through how I store coffee so it has a good microbial content when it goes in my bin to feed the composting worms.
