STEP 1: In Chapter 9 as Ryan "DECLINE" Laura's offer to be bitten (this guarantees that Ryan bleeds out at end of Chapter 9 and Laura is the sole survivor) STEP 2: At the end of Chapter 9 after falling through the attic floor: RYAN SHOOTS MONSTER CHRIS (Lifts Curse from Max/Laura) -- RYAN AUTOMATICALLY DIES FROM BLOOD LOSS (Laura didn't bite him) -- LAURA MUST WIN THE QTE TO GRAB GUN AND SHOOT TRAVIS THE COP. Then Laura is the sole survivor in Chapter 9, she'll run away and grab some clothes from a clothesline. Important: If in Chapter 7 Laura shot Travis with his pistol to escape the prison cell, he will automatically stab Laura at end of Chapter 9. In this scenario you must replay from Chapter 7 onward and DON'T shoot Travis in Chapter 7 prison cell (either use syringe to put him to sleep or grab his gun but don't shoot him). If you did the "Everyone Survives" playthrough beforehand you will already have done this and shouldn't need to replay Chapter 7. STEP 3: At the start of Chatper 10 you play as Max. Walk to the other side of the Island, a cutscene will start where Laura comes on a boat and reunites with Max.
