Reforlation — This will be used to do the Transcription and Translation. It will only work with Claude API. It is set to use Claude Opus 4.6. There is a Transcribe Only, Translate Only, and Transcribe and Translate option. Claude Batch API is used, because 1. Claude seems to be the best present AI option for OCR/Transcription. 2. Claude's Batch API is 50% less expensive than running a local API. Batch API means that the entire project is uploaded to Claude's servers, and they have up to 48hrs to process it. At this time, every project we have sent has been done in less than an hour. This has included attempts to both Transcribe and Translate a 1,300+ page work. With this, you can easily upload your Edited Chunks from your Cleaned Transcription to be Translated. Or, you can Transcribe Only and get the Transcriptions to Clean. You will be able to export in Bilingual, Transcription Only, and Translation Only formats. And you will have the option of Text or DOCX exports. For a Side Note: In the Text Exports you will notice a lot of asterisk's. These are to indicate in the Text, where Bold and Italics go for Export in DOCX.
