Ravichandran Ashwin has been one of the leading spinners in world cricket for a while now. He currently has the second-highest number of wickets by an Indian in Test cricket, with Anil Kumble ahead of him. Ashwin recently released his book, titled “I Have the Streets”, co-authored by leading cricket writer with ESPNcricinfo, Sidharth Monga.  The book chronicles Ashwin’s transition from gully cricket and his quest to constantly improve.  In an interview to The Hindu, Ashwin opens up on several topics that shaped his life and career.
