What you’ll learn: Step 0: Sign into or create an Alertify Dashboard Account. Ensure you have your Wi-Fi network name and password ready, turn off 'Auto-Join' on your Wi-Fi settings, download the Alertify: Property Monitoring app, and plug your device in a common area for best results. Step 1a: Setting Up Using the Alertify: Property Monitoring App. Open the app, enter your dashboard username and password details, tap the main menu bar, select 'Add New Device', and follow the prompts to connect your device to your Wi-Fi network. Step 1b: Setting Up Without the App (Browser Method). Go to your Wi-Fi settings, connect to 'Alertify AP', open a new browser tab, go to 192.168.4.1, and follow the setup instructions. Step 2: Assign Your Device To A Building & Unit. Go to 'Buildings', click 'Add New Building', fill in details, then select 'Add New Unit', fill in details, and enable monitoring settings. Finally, assign your device to a unit. Set Up Notifications.
