I work as a freelance illustrator and create illustrations mainly for historical fiction and children’s books. Visiting historical and ancient sites in Ireland has always been a great inspiration for me since I was a child, and I hope my ‘artist’s eye’ can help you also to see the magic that surrounds us. This week I'm visiting Castle Coole in Co.Fermanagh, where you can walk with me through the ancient forests and lakeshore; visit a charming little book shop, while also grabbing a bite to eat in an old stone cottage.
