An illuminating conversation with my friend Kenn deep in the jungle. He reminds me of a modern day Gandalf who is almost 70 years old. “Put your Truth on the table”, and in this interview he shares many nuggets of wisdom connected to having the courage to share what you really feel with others, speaking your truth, being real, and living your life with heart and spirit! ❤️ I hope this conversation and exchange between us can inspire you, and perhaps give you confirmation that taking the path of being radically authentic and truthful, is a worthwhile endeavour and it leads to claiming ones authentic selfhood and integrity. One of the main threads that ran throughout our conversation was on the importance of speaking from the heart, and truly sharing what we feel—not just what we “think”. This interview is especially important for men in this day and age, to be reminded of the importance of being an integrated human that has a connection to ones mind, heart, soul and body—and not just operating like a robot or machine. We are living in a strong collective field of emotional suppression. So many of us have been encouraged to push down our emotions and suppressing what we feel, yet when we do this, we lose connection to our essential self and a disconnect forms within us. Some golden nuggets of wisdom from our interview: “Everyone can relate to what you feel—but relating to what you “think” is a mind field.” “Do what you are feeling called to do, that you are afraid to do.” “Feel yourself first, and then speak from that place of inner connection.” “Have the heart and courage to tell others what you feel.” Hope you enjoy this authentic sharing and soulful conversation!
