Hello! I decided to compile a few videos I made showcasing some interesting (in my opinion) modifications to my new Schecter Banshee Mach-6 FR S guitar. In a few words, I'll explain exactly what I've added and modified—perhaps it will be of interest to guitarists among my friends 🙂🍻. Briefly, since I'm one of the few guitarists who doesn't like playing with different instruments, preferring to play various styles, I've always needed several different guitars. I've always dreamed of a guitar that has everything I've added here and doesn't require me to switch guitars during a performance! 🙂 First, a few words about the guitar itself, which I chose over several months according to the criteria I set for myself: It’s an instrument of a very high level (it’s not handmade, but of all the serial production instruments I've played so far (and I've been through quite a few serious instruments), it’s the best). The construction is a neck-through design, steel frets (very preferred by me), a two-octave neck with extremely easy access to the 24th fret, and brutal pickups - Neck - Sustainiac (works in single-coil and humbucker modes, with various modes for sustaining) and Bridge - Lundgren M6, which can also be split into singles (an exceptional pickup!). There are many other interesting things in the description, but all of it is available on the Schecter website... Now, about the modifications themselves: 1. A Ghost Piezo System from Graphtech, so I can most closely mimic an acoustic guitar (I understand it will never be like a real one, but it works great for live performances and I'm extremely happy with the result 😁). I ordered the system as a kit with the Acustic-Phonic preamp board (a very important part in my opinion) and some wiring components. 2. Lithium-polymer batteries with a USB-C balancing-charging board (BMS), as well as an additional stabilizing one, due to the Sustainiac pickup and its electronics, as it’s a bit finicky. 🙂 The batteries have a capacity of 1000mAh and last twice as long as a standard 9v battery (500 hours on a single charge), with the obvious advantage of charging in about an hour and a half 🙂. They have a charge indicator as well as an alarm (visual) for low battery levels 🙂. 3. A "Kill Switch," which is extremely useful to me for certain effects during playing 😁. I've been planning to install one for a while, and it’s quite a project 😁. That's about it in general 🙂. If you have any questions, are interested, and I can be of help with something, write to me 🙂🍻🤘
