'FOUND03' FULL CONTINUOUS EXCLUSIVE MIX {{{{{(SUGGESTED READING)}}}}}} I spent 6 months working on this mini-album for Lost & Found ... the following is long but all I ask you all to take a few minutes to read why this project has been so important to me as an artist. Go on the journey: btprt.dj/1XJydnS _________________________________ When GuyJ asked me to write a mini-LP for Lost & Found, I didn't hesitate for a second. I knew it would be a great opportunity and a big challenge for me to do something special. As of now, I am the 3rd artist tapped to produce for the Found series and the only artist this year doing a lengthy project on the label. With that in mind, I knew I had to come up with something truly special. I ended up writing five tracks in crescendo style, meaning that there is a constant build up throughout the LP. As track titles suggest, this series was inspired by natural phenomenons and how they make me feel. Life on our planet... it's natural reactions; the way Earth keeps evolving. Sometimes we forget to think about Earth as a living thing. We are living in an age where it's easy to be detached and disconnected with our planet. We live in an age full of technology, man-made infrastructures, chemicals, and lots of simulations. That holds especially true for people that live in big metropolis like NYC where if you are not careful enough, as great as this city is, it can suck you in this little bubble where you will never ever enjoy what our planet has to offer. Thanks to the traveling I've done, I've been able to come back to life and set my foot on the ground, literally. To me, that's inspiring and amazing. It took me six months to write the full project. All tracks were performed live and feature a combination of analog and digital equipment here in my studio in NYC where I write all of my music. It's written, performed, edited, mixed and mastered by me in it's entirety. I start the project very deep & moody followed by a techy organic feel, which then turns melodic and finishes off with a housier peak time track which I consider to be the lead track. So the project builds up to the lead track called 'Aurora' which happens to also be my favorite one. Listen Brian Cid on SoundCloud: / briancid
