East Broad Top Railroad

In October 2005 the East Broad Top was holding their annual Fall Spectacular. This event was the first time in several years that more than one locomotive would be operational. So, I packed up my wife and three week old son and headed for Pennsylvania! This video is set up by location along the line, not in the order it was shot. Each morning started with a double headed coal train. This video brought back a lot of memories. I had forgotten what it was like to hear the whistles echo off the surrounding hills, and both locomotives passing the station at the same time. I can almost smell the place again! This video is longer than most of my other videos because I couldn't cut out a lot of things that add to the whole experience of the East Broad Top. Special thanks go to my wife, not only did she put up with me dragging her and our new born son train chasing but she also did a great job taking the pacing shots!
