When space expansion began, their abilities and resilience greatly served human fleets. Stronger and requiring less sleep, they were assigned to the most demanding tasks aboard spacecraft. They were sent to explore the most hostile planets. Over time, humans built empires, some collapsed, others endured, and eventually they united to form the High Galactic Alliance, a coalition bringing together the armies and peoples of multiple planets across the galaxy. On rare planets, Humanoids are accepted as full members of society. But the High Galactic Alliance, which extends its influence across all colonized worlds, has always seen the Humanoids as the greatest threat to humanity.
