This is a video demonstrating the Portalevel® MAX NIPPON ultrasonic liquid level indicator operating on a 45KG CO2 cylinder commonly found in the Japanese fire industry. The user moved down in steps from the top to the bottom in order to identify on which side of the level to calibrate. Once he had identified that the higher readings were found above level. He proceeded to calibrate above level producing a full bar graph. He then move down in methodical steps until the sensor was below the liquid level indicated by the disappearance in bar graph and corresponding low readings. Smaller adjustments were made until the exact Liquid/Gas interface was identified. Which took a total of 35 seconds to calibrate and identify the liquid level on a standard 45KG CO2 cylinder.
