Huge Pow Dump In Whistler!

Woo Hoo! Winter came in March this year! This was from the first day of a multi day storm cycle that yielded a fantastic dumping of snow. The snow was almost too deep in some places! If I wasn't on my 176cm Gentemstick Superfish, I definitely wouldn't have been able to stay afloat. The alpine wasn't open because too much snow had fallen- so I started the day riding skiers right of Emerald chair. The snow was awesome, but we almost needed some steeper incline in order to stay afloat. Never the less, the snow was nice and dense, and felt really cushy to cruise on. Once the majority of things had been tracked up there, I headed to the mid mountain to get some steeper forest laps, accessible from Garbonzo chair. The snow was a little heavier down there, but was still super fun in the forest, and the wetter snow slowed you down just enough to make some really intricate turns between trees. This day was awesome, but stay tuned- because this was just the start of storm that lasted for a good week! This was filmed March 9th on an Insta 360 X4 here in Whistler BC.
