Mary Harron is the acclaimed director behind movies like American Psycho, I Shot Andy Warhol, Charlie Says and The Notorious Bettie Page. Her latest, Dalíland, is a feature film that looks at the life of surrealist artist Salvador Dali in his later years, starring Ben Kingsley as Dali. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, where Tom got the chance to sit down with Mary to talk about the film, and why she was willing to blur the lines of fact and fiction in this biopic.
