An excellent conversation with Pucker Gallery Artist Ken Matsuzaki, Professor Andrew Maske, and Gallery Director, Bernie Pucker with the aid of friend and translator Mugi Hanao for a conversation on Matsuzaki’s new and transforming works. Ken Matsuzaki has continued to evolve and grow over the past 22 years that we have shown his art. The newest collection of work extends his personal artistic journey as he stretches the Mingei strictures to new and exciting sculptural forms. We will have an opportunity to hear from Ken and learn more about his intent and the results. The exhibition, 'Transformation: Ceramics by Ken Matsuzaki' was on view at the Gallery from 16 July through 4 September. With essays by Andrew L.
