Myles and Deanna are a young married couple who live in their stealth camper van that they built from a extended cargo van. They built their own tiny home in Ontario but didn't have a place that allowed then to live in it during the winter, so they decided to buy this van, convert it and drive to British Columbia which has much milder Canadian winters. they did their build on the cheap, using lots of reclaimed and recycled pieces as well as low tech solutions for things like refrigerator, which they just use a simple cooler. their fresh water setup is a 5 gallon jug with a electric water pump and a stainless steel mixing bowl sink. they don't have a grey water system so after doing dishes and cleaning up, they find somewhere safe to dump the grey water left in their sink. while in Victoria BC they rented a parking spot downtown for 150$ a month, that way they didn't have to feel insecure in there parking, like a lot of city van dwellers feel. myles and Deanna both really value the van life community and I actually met them at a local van life meet up, they think it's the best way to get started into van life, even if you don't own a van and go to these meet ups you can get first hand knowledge and experience looking at these diy builds and different types of vans which will help you on your own van life journey.
