In 2023, I purchased raw land in North Central Florida for a future homestead, including building a home, a small farm and planting a food forest. Determining the best state for homesteading must be carefully considered to ensure the location and land meets your needs. Choosing a state for homesteading is an individual decision, and every individual has different wants, needs, expectations and goals.
