❤️How about some salted caramel coffee for Mom on Sunday?☕️🌹 ☀️Good morning to You! 🌞 ☕️Whether it is a family morning, a friend stopping by in the early hours, or just a moment to myself, I love this milky and full-of-flavor coffee for any occasion. It is my new favorite when I need a sugary moment.😋 The sweet and salty flavors are perfectly balanced, and the touch of vanilla completes the palette. You can make it within minutes, and it is the perfect companion to French toast or pastry, too! The amount of sugar and coffee can be adjusted to your liking. ❗️Tip: ♡Pour it over ice for iced coffee.🧊🧊🧊 ♡Pair it with my buttery French toast with velvety plum compote. See the linked video at the end of this one. For 1 cup/ 250ml: 2 teaspoons of sugar (I used organic raw sugar) 1/4 cup / 50ml of warm water 3/4 / 200ml cup of milk 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract A pinch of sea salt 2 teaspoons of instant coffee A splash of cream (1-2 teaspoons) 1. Melt the sugar in a small saucepan and let it caramelize until it turns light brown. 2. Slowly and very carefully, add the water (it will splatter if the water is too cold, and/or if you pour it too fast). Some of the sugar will harden, but let it bubble until the caramel is fully dissolved. 3. Add the milk and stir 4. Add the vanilla and salt and let it heat up, but don't let it boil. ❗️Do not over salt it! The idea is to add a touch of saltiness that can be tasted without it being overpowering. 5. Mix in the coffee and stir. 6. Add the cream, stir, and serve. Or pour it over ice for a cold drink and serve. Either way, it is delicious 😋
