Personal trainer and bodybuilder Iris Davis, from Long Creek, South Carolina, has opened up about how her passion for bodybuilding helped her thrive despite a tragic start in life with the losses of a child and a husband. Iris was born in Dublin, Ireland, where she lived with 14 siblings in a two-bedroom home, began working at 14, married at 17 and by the time she was 18 she had her first child, who died of pneumonia when he was just two months of age.
