Freediving and snorkelling at the Garden Island Ship's Graveyard in Adelaide. I stopped counting at 10 shipwrecks. According to a local government website, this is one of the world's largest and most diverse ships graveyards. It's mostly a shallow site, with some of the ships further away sitting in deeper water and warranting more of a freedive than a snorkel. Further away from the bridge, the algae steadily builds - it's very fragile and stirs up quickly, so if heading out to this site I recommend swimming on the surface with your arms rather than with your fins, and don't go there in a big group -- it would definitely need time to settle after you see it. Due to this being in a tidal river environment, I don't recommend doing this site on an outgoing tide. NEVER DIVE ALONE | Adelaide Freedive Tribe Note - at the time this video was uploaded the music owner gave permission for its use and I complied to the instructions for crediting them. Unfortunately a copyright dispute was upheld against me anyway, and so I have since muted the music.
