The first sleep sound I created using my MIDI keyboard - adding melodic chords and drones - was Soothing Lotus Noise a few years ago (   • Soothing Lotus Noise | 12 Hours | Bla...  ). I loved it so much that I’ve been incorporating these sounds into my work ever since! As mentioned in that original video, the lotus has symbolised healing for centuries, deeply rooted in Traditional Eastern medicine and cuisine. It represents purity in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, with its medicinal use spanning generations. In that track, I first explored this concept by recording the sound of a lotus flower being brushed and rustled, then elongating and filtering it. For this new mix, I’m revisiting that original sound but deepening the atmosphere with rich bass tones and lower delta drones, creating an even more grounding and immersive experience. I’ve also refined the original layered solfeggio tones - 528Hz and 417Hz - blending them more smoothly into the composition. The 528Hz frequency is associated with stress reduction and hormonal balance, while the 417Hz tone is known for clearing negative energy from both the aura and environment, promoting restful sleep.
