The name of the composition SRI TYAGESA ANANDHAKKALIPPU suggests the joy or the extacy of the real bhakthta towards their Great Lord Tyagesa. It is set in a simple meter (as similar to the tune of Bharathiyar's coposition Engal Tayi) in the raga Bhairavi set to Tisra Nadai Eka Tala. The sahitya brings out the details of the temple, the puranic significance, the personal love towards Him, the philosophical aspects of the cult, and so on.
