On September 23, 2023, Ohio Highway Patrol Trooper Byron stopped a vehicle for speeding. The 22-year-old driver was on her way home from a strip club in Dayton, Ohio. She initially denied consuming alcohol, but then admitted that she had drank 2 shots at the club because it was "fetish night". She was asked to step out of her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. This included a portable breath test with a result of 0.108% BAC. She was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). While sitting in the back of the police vehicle, she had a meltdown, blaming everyone but herself for her actions. At the Highway Patrol Post, she continued being loud and unruly. She submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.115% BAC.
