Dive in — I break down the EXACT Magistus + Nekroz engine I’m running in Master Duel (2025), show an easy 4-card opening combo, and explain the one weird tech that makes this list consistent. Expect clean plays, hand traps answers, and quick Ritual set-ups. Subscribe for decklists, replays, and short sticky combos. Key cards (real effect text) Spenta, the Magistus Sealer — You can discard this card, then activate 1 of these effects; Add 1 “Magistus” monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Spenta, the Magistus Sealer”. Halve the ATK of 1 monster your opponent controls until the end of this turn. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 face-up monster you control; equip 1 “Magistus” monster from your Extra Deck or GY to it as an Equip Spell. You can only use each effect of “Spenta, the Magistus Sealer” once per turn.. Nekroz of Brionac — You can Ritual Summon this card with any “Nekroz” Ritual Spell. You can only use each of these effects of “Nekroz of Brionac” once per turn. You can discard this card; add 1 “Nekroz” monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Nekroz of Brionac”. You can target up to 2 face-up monsters on the field that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck; shuffle them into the Deck.. Verre Magic – Lacrima of Light — (This card is always treated as a “Magistus” and “Witchcrafter” card.) Activate 1 of these effects (but you can only use each effect of "Verre Magic - Lacrima of Light" once per turn); If you control a "Magistus" or "Witchcrafter" monster: Send 1 Spellcaster monster or 1 Spell from your Deck to the GY. When your opponent activates a card or effect: Special Summon 1 "Magistus" or "Witchcrafter" monster from your hand or Deck.. Easy combo (example — 4-card opening) Normal/Discard Spenta search a Magistus starter (add a Magistus to hand). Play a Magistus + use Verre Magic (send a Spellcaster or spell to GY) to trigger grave synergy and possibly special a Magistus. Ritual Summon Nekroz of Brionac (use your ritual spell + materials); discard Brionac’s effect to fetch another Nekroz piece from deck. Use Brionac’s field effect to shuffle away up to 2 Extra-Deck threats (big disruption) and follow with equip/effects to lock the opponent out. Result: quick resource recovery + immediate Extra-Deck disruption while keeping Magistus followups to extend plays. Unique strategy / tech Build the deck to tempo-swing off small discards: discard-tutor Magistus cards (Spenta) fuel grave setups, while the Nekroz package acts as a ritual-speed control layer (Brionac shuffles Extra-Deck summons). The surprise is using Verre Magic’s reactive summon as an immediate board answer on your opponent’s activation — it doubles as both an extender and a soft counter. This hybrid lets you both start plays (Magistus engine) and stop opponent plays (Nekroz disruption). Is this deck still strong in 2025 meta? Short answer: Yes—viable and sneaky. Recent Master Duel content shows Magistus getting fresh support and aggressive players topping with Magistus variants (mid-2025 packs and profiles), while Nekroz profiles have resurfaced as viable ritual-control builds — together they form a flexible engine that handles Extra-Deck heavy metas. Play smart tech (hand traps, Ash/Negates) and this hybrid is meta-relevant in 2025. Conclusion This Magistus + Nekroz build is all about consistent tutoring (Spenta), reactive summons (Verre Magic), and hard disruption (Brionac). If you want the full list, side options, and replays from Master Duel ladder matches, say “list + replays” in the comments and I’ll drop them next. #Magistus #Nekroz #MasterDuel #YuGiOh #DeckProfile #2025Meta #MagistusNekroz #CardGameTips ⏰Timestamps; 00:00 VIDEOS STATISTIC 01:04 magistus deck master duel 05:28 nekroz master duel 08:44 nekroz deck 2025 I'm true duelist..
