Simple shampoo bar recipe using powders (makes 60 g/2.11 oz) 64% sodium cocoyl isethionate: 38.4 g/1.35 oz 18% cocamidropopyl betaine: 10.8 g/0.38 oz 9.5% oil of your choice: 5.7 g/0.20 oz 6% clay (better for oily hair) or starch: 3.6 g/0.12 oz 2% essential oils (or remove them and increase the oil amount): 1.2 g/0.04 oz 0.5% preservative of your choice (download the preservatives guide here: https://bit.ly/3fhZZFU): 0.3 g/0.01 oz Mix all the ingredients together and press the mix until you obtain a "dough" consistency. Fill a mould by pressing well, or hand mould the bar, and let air dry or pop in the freezer. For a milder formula, you can also decrease the SCI amount and use a combination of clays + starches. You could also mix in a little bit of powders like nettle leaf, shikakai etc. For clays I recommend kaolin or bentonite clay, as starches you can use arrowroot powder or corn starch.
