A l'occasion de la fermeture pour rénovation du centre Beaubourg Georges Pompidou, retour sur l'événement clôturant deux jours et deux nuits de festivités hors norme, le centre Pompidou et Because Music ont rassemblé 8 000 personnes, entre concerts et DJ sets. Avec deux invités surprises : Thomas Bangalter, ex-Daft Punk et Fred Again la star montante mondiale de l'Electro. Dans un tourbillon de musique, d'images et de patins à roulettes, le Centre Pompidou s'est offert un dernier week-end festif avant cinq ans de travaux, avec Because Beaubourg, un événement qui transforme l'intégralité du bâtiment en un immense terrain de jeu.. Fermé au public depuis le 22 septembre, le bâtiment aux emblématiques tuyaux colorés a rouvert ses portes ce week-end avec un parcours inédit. De vendredi 11 h jusqu'au dimanche 5 h, quelque 80 artistes se sont produits à travers concerts, DJ sets, performances, masterclasses, projections et expériences immersives sur les huit étages. Chaque étage propose une expérience différente. Au niveau -1, des pianistes amateurs se succèdent devant une fresque des étudiants des Beaux-Arts, tandis que le Forum, au rez-de-chaussée, devient le théâtre de performances en journée et un club nocturne illuminé par le portrait de Georges Pompidou de Victor Vasarely. Le Village des enfants prend place au 3e étage, tandis que plusieurs artistes et sociétés ont investi le 4e niveau. Shygirl, Shay ou Pedro Winter, fondateur du label Ed Banger, ainsi que Spotify, Samsung et Snapchat, qui proposent de tester ses lunettes de réalité augmentée, participent à des installations et expériences interactives. Le premier et le sixième étage accueillent, de jour comme de nuit, des artistes tels que Catherine Ringer, Christine and the Queens, Selah Sue, Keziah Jones ou Sébastien Tellier. Conçu en 1977 comme un lieu "ouvert à tous" par les architectes Renzo Piano et Richard Rogers, le Centre Pompidou souffre aujourd'hui de vétusté. Pour encore plus de mouvements, le Roller Disco fait vibrer l'ancienne galerie 1, au dernier étage. In a whirlwind of music, images, and roller skates, the Centre Pompidou treated itself to one last festive weekend before five years of renovations, with Because Beaubourg, an event that transforms the entire building into a vast playground. Closed to the public since September 22, the building with its iconic colored pipes reopens this weekend with a brand-new experience. From Friday at 11:00 AM until Sunday at 5:00 AM, some 80 artists will perform across eight floors, offering concerts, DJ sets, performances, masterclasses, screenings, and immersive experiences. Each floor offers a different experience. On level -1, amateur pianists take turns playing in front of a mural by art students, while the Forum, on the ground floor, becomes a performance space during the day and a nighttime club illuminated by Victor Vasarely's portrait of Georges Pompidou. The Children's Village is located on the 3rd floor, while several artists and companies have taken over the 4th floor. Shygirl, Shay, and Pedro Winter, founder of the Ed Banger label, as well as Spotify, Samsung, and Snapchat, which offers the chance to try out its augmented reality glasses, are participating in interactive installations and experiences.
