CA220 Stereo Integrated Amplifier – Vintage Hi-Fi Overview In this video I present the CA220 stereo integrated amplifier, a compact vintage hi-fi unit manufactured in Taiwan during the 1980s. Amplifiers like this were designed for home stereo systems and were commonly used with turntables, cassette decks, tuners and other analog audio sources. The front panel offers classic analog controls including bass, treble and balance adjustments, along with loudness and mono switches. Multiple inputs allow connection of different audio sources such as a phono turntable, tuner, CD player or tape deck. On the rear panel the amplifier provides connections for two pairs of speakers (A/B), as well as tape monitor connections and standard RCA inputs for external audio equipment. Vintage amplifiers like the CA220 are appreciated for their straightforward design, classic styling and warm analog sound that many listeners still enjoy today. In this video I show the amplifier, its controls, connections and overall design.
