On Feb, 15, 2026, Kilauea Volcano started erupting only one day after precursory activity (lava overflows) began on Valentine's Day. Episode 42 took place during a windy and heavy rain storm with no end in sight which caused severe road traffic into Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park and drenched hundreds of onlookers. Episode 42 was a soaking wet experience but it was unique because you could hear the loud roar of a massive eruption in front of you but you could barely see it hiding behind a cover of clouds, rain, and myst. The lava fountains supposedly reached 1,250 feet at its peak and continued to erupt until 11:38 p.m. It was a Busy Valentine's Day weekend and car rental companies like Dollar were charging visitors up to $2000 a day to rent a midsize sedan due to Monday "Presidents Day" being a national holiday. Episode 36, 39, and now Episode 42 will be remembered as the wettest episodes so far.
