#nedaCFilms #G92code #3rdGen #Firebird This WS6/G92 Firebird Formula has spent 99% of it's entire life as a race car... originally I shot this car back in 2006, the year it won the Camaro-Mustang Challenge (CMC) series championship with it's stock 213hp-(at rear wheels) 5.0 Tuned Port Injection... then I managed to catch up with the present owner a few years later to find out it's now sporting a 383 Stroker and running in the American Iron series. I must say that as cool as a big-cube 383 Stroker is, I am a bit sad to see the original 5.0-liter TPI platform replaced. With the original NASA-CMC class horsepower limit of 230rwhp recently being raised, we are seeing these old 3rd Gen 5.0-liter Tuned Port cars disappearing from CMC competition... ...anyway, I just love these cars, and personally am absolutely drawn to these era cars, as the first late-model F-body that I owned was a 1987 Formula Firebird way back in 1992, lol... so these Formula models are extremely close to my heart... as all '80s Tuned Port Injected Camaro IROC-Z and 5.0 Mustang (Foxbody) models are as well...
