Southern Fun and Adventure in Austin, Texas!

Austin, Texas has it all! When we weren't eating barbecue, we were exploring all of what Texas' state capital had to offer. There's no shortage of activities to get into. The first of our activities took us to a nearby store named Callahans to try and get suited up in cowboy attire. Our next full day took us to some outdoor locations including McKinney Falls State Park which has many nice trails to explore, and Mount Bonnell for a beautiful overlook of the city. We also walked the ground of the state capitol building. We were surprised to see many bluebonnets in bloom during our visit too! No trip in Austin is complete without a trip to Allens Boots. They have boots, belts, hats, and all your other cowboy attire needs. It was a bit too pricey for us, but it is a really nice store to check out regardless.
