Part of the requirements is to take education courses, but to also have and maintain a Trust Account. A Trust Account is where money is held on the investor's behalf - exactly like a lawyer's trust account. Any money the company receives is deposited "in trust" into the trust account, and then any expenses that occur throughout the month is dispersed from the trust account, such as a maintenance expense, the management fee, etc. At month end, the net income is electronically transferred into the investor's actual bank account - the account where the investor might have their mortgage payment, property taxes or insurance coming from.
