Last December, we loaded up the RV and hit the road for a 4,000-mile journey from Colorado to the Atlantic Coast of Charleston at Folly Beach and back. This was more than a road trip this was a full-on adventure. We crossed state lines, trekking high and low through the mountains, and made unforgettable stops along the way including exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park and standing high above the Rio Grande river in New Mexico at the legendary Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, one of the highest bridges in America. From mountain views to coastal air, this trip gave us everything: long highway stretches, RV life lessons, food stops, fuel stops, and the freedom that only the open road can give.
