This video is a brief overview on how to setup and start your Habor Freight PREDATOR 3200 PSI, 2.8 GPM, 6.8 HP (223cc) Pressure Washer. As a small business owner, I opted to purchase the PREDATOR for my business. This is Harbor Freight's smaller gas unit but it suits my business needs as I grow my small business. In my specific case I managed to find an open-box unit at a local Harbor Freight, while utilizing an additional 25% off coupon. The overall cost of the unit was $270 - considering it retails around $450 (plus tax) it was a bit of a bargain lads. Well, more like daylight robbery but don't tell Harbor Freight that. The only issue I ran into with this PREDATOR Pressure Washer was that the OEM wand had to be replaced. A $20 replacement later and the unit is working flawlessly. The consensus online is that the engine appears to be a Honda clone, manufactured in China. I anticipate the reliability long-term to be questionable under commercial applications, but considering my investment level I will be thrilled if I can keep it running for 12 months. Anything longer than that will be a bonus. As an aside lads just be careful with open-box purchases like this. I got lucky in some sense, but it could have been a dud. For example, I almost walked out of the store at the time of this purchase with the larger pressure washer. That particular pressure washer was also an open box, but when I took it to the checkout I noted that the head gasket was missing. Yes, the head gasket. So.... Harbor Freight absolutely does not test returned goods like this. On that unit they didn't even eyeball it properly to make sure everything was there... which would have been a $800+ (discounted) problem for me. Food for thought.
