Diamond Sennit Knot How to Tie the 6 Strand Diamond Sennit Knot - Similar to Matthew Walker Knot. 🛠 Personally I find the Diamond Sennit Knot easier to tie than the Matthew Walker Knot. The Diamond Sennit Knot is very similar to the Matthew Walker Knot, except that the Diamond Sennit has a nice crowned top to the spiral. From ABOK: The Diamond Sinnet Knot is the one most often seen. The Sinnet Knot was both named and pictured by E. N. Smith in Log Book Notes (1888). Generally the knot is tied in bag lanyards with either six or eight strands; occasionally they have ten and seldom twelve. Ditty-bag lanyards are sometimes tied with as few as four strands. Nine strands are required when the knot is tied in a “cat.”Usually each strand makes a complete circuit of the knot, and the end is tucked under its own bight . #LetsGetKnotting 💥 SUBSCRIBE to see more new Knotting Videos: / @knottingknots If you really like this video, please share it via the Share button above.
