2025 IU Senior Awards: Susan Butler Award

The Butler Award honors the memory of Susan Butler, the mother of Margaret Butler Snow, a supporter of Indiana University during the Great Depression. It recognizes a graduating senior woman who has demonstrated outstanding scholarship and character. Julie M. Heath is a Kelley School of Business student graduating with majors in marketing, international business, and digital and social media business applications, and a minor in Spanish. As a Provost’s Scholar, she earned additional accolades including the Kelley Business Honors and Atherton, Thomas L. Peters and Burdines Alumni Marketing Scholarships. She currently serves as the president of Kelley Women’s Council, leading a council of eight organization presidents to foster collaboration and create inclusive programming for all Kelley women. She previously served as the vice president of Outreach for Kelley Student Government (KSG), director of alumni engagement for KSG, marketing director for Phi Chi Theta, and a Camp Kelley K-Team Leader. She has dedicated herself to enhancing student engagement, inclusivity, and professional development within the IU community.
