2019 Literary Festival Event: Author Mike McCormack

Please join us on Thursday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the Presidents’ Lounge, Connelly Center, for a reading and talk given by author Mike McCormack, one of the Literary Festival’s featured speakers. McCormark has published two collections of short stories, as well as three novels. He won the 1996 Rooney Prize for Irish Literature, and his novel Getting It In the Head was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year. His book Solar Bones won the Goldsmiths Prize, and in 2018 he won the Dublin Literary Prize. This event, co-sponsored by Falvey Memorial Library, the English Department, the Creative Writing Program, the Honors Program, Africana Studies, Global Interdisciplinary Studies, The Writing Center and Gender and Women’s Studies, is free and open to the public.
