In this match, Arakni, Marionette faces off against Florian, Rotwood Harbinger. These matchups usually run long and often end in fatigue, so our game plan was clear: pressure early, block smart, and avoid banishing their earth cards to keep Florian’s hero ability offline as long as possible. Our opponent blocked throughout, but often just enough to keep their life total stable while still presenting strong turns. That opened small windows for us to push chip damage while maintaining a decent block plan of our own. In the midgame, red-heavy hands slowed us down and forced more conservative lines. But when the endgame approached, we shifted gears—took a calculated risk, went all in, and Flick Knives sealed the deal.
