Ask Doctors - Get Video Answers in HINDI Subscribe to -    / @doctorscirclehindi   for HINDI videos When you talk about scar tissue in the abdomen people who would have had multiple surgeries or people who would have had some past history of infections, especially infections like infections like tuberculosis abdomen, you tend to notice that inside the abdomen you develop thin filmy adhesions which are called as thin string of structures that are attaching to different organs inside your abdomen, like your bowels are attached to the anterior wall of the abdomen and or the bowels are attached to the uterus, ovaries. By and large most of the adhesions or scar tissue in the abdomen will tend to have vague symptoms or vague abdominal pain which are non specific, which can happen. Some tend to notice that aggressive bowel movements increase the pain or when there is lot of cramps in the abdomen you tend to notice that there is a particular pain that is located to one side of the abdomen and when you go and see your doctors, that is when they would be depending on your previous history if you give them a history of multiple surgeries or if you give a history of tuberculosis abdomen they would suspect these adhesions and they would offer you adhesiolysis. At laparoscopy when we see the scar tissues attaching to different organs we tend to release them out using instruments that are safer to release of those adhesions and try to put them on some therapy to minimise the chances of adhesions. We would not want you to go for adhesiolysis unless the symptoms are severe enough because there is a high chances of the adhesions tending to recur.
