In this video, medical oncologist Mark Scholz, MD answers a patients' question about finding a doctor who would be willing to try bipolar androgen therapy (BAT). BAT is a treatment protocol in which standard hormone therapy (wherein testosterone is lowered to near 0) is alternated with periods of high doses of testosterone in men whose prostate cancer has become resistant to hormone therapy and other forms of available therapy.
