In this segment, we discuss the turbines, which are steady flow engineering devices. The goal is to extract energy from a turbine. We also solve an example problem. The problem is for steam going through a nonadiabatic turbine and requires visiting the steam tables (A-5E and A-6E in Appendix 2 Cengel).
