After the appalling organisation suffered at the Tour of Cambridgeshire, I've been unwilling to enter a Sportive again. We are slow mainly because we enjoy smelling the roses and stopping to seek out historical sights. This is made much easier as we both ride graves bikes - Wendy a Liv Devote and me a Planet X Tempest Titanium. We often stray from the planned route to dive off down an inviting looking track. I usually add details of the routes we take, on Strava, at the end of each video so you can ride them if you wish. Wendy is prone to bursting into song, although there's no chance of a copyright strike as she only ever remember the first verse and even then it's unrecognisable. We have ridden Edinburgh to Grantham, Coast to Coast on the The Way of The Roses and the Cantii Way in Kent. We sometimes also ride ebikes, mainly if we have things to carry.
